The Hawks' Serious Corruption Investigation members arrested a 33-year-old suspect for alleged tender corruption in Polokwane on 21 January 2023.
The suspect allegedly demanded a gratification fee of R300 000 in order to reward a tender to a certain company. The matter was reported to the Hawks' Serious Corruption Investigation members based in Polokwane, and subsequently an undercover operation was conducted that led to the arrest.
