An intelligence driven operation carried out by different units including SAPS Plessislaer Anti-Crime Task Team, Umgungundlovu District Task Team, Umgungundlovu Detective Task Team, Crime Intelligence and private security, on 08 May 2024, at Imbali Township yielded success.
Two #wanted suspects were traced and arrested for possession of firearms and business robbery, perpetrated on Monday 06 May 2024 at a spaza shop in Sweetwaters Location.
The firearms will be subjected to ballistic testing to ascertain if they were used in the commission of crime especially in and around the Pietermaritzburg area.
